Looks great (I got the gold one with silver billets) although has some minor dinks and scratches, almost non noticeable. Very solid piece, don't expect to break even if I threw it under a truck. A little small, will grind probably 2 grams at most, but grinds very easily with 1 in there and very fine. Biggest problem with it that maybe the net mesh for 'pollen' catching is too fine and I have accumulated barely any so far, but maybe I need better herb? Idk. $10 DOLLARS!!! I've seen people get crappy plastic ones for $20, so yeah..
Overall A, great buy!

The seal just is not air tight to prevent any loss and if you try to tighten the plastic it will then just loosen up. Its a good product but obviously you get what you pay for, there's a reason why its fairly inexpensive compared to the others out there.

Pocket Vapor VP-600 Review

(More customer reviews)The VP-600 vaporizes herbs efficiently, is relatively simple to operate, and is easy to clean. However, it's plastic shell is brittle, and it's interlocking parts wouldn't snap together... until they'd been "broken" in... literally. Nothing serious. Just annoying.
The herb chamber is a perforated metal cup that fits inside a ceramic chamber. Once the VP-600 is ignited, a blue-hot, butane mini-torch blasts the ceramic chamber directly, but the flame never touches the herbs sealed inside.Regardless of freshness, anything placed inside the metal cup will vaporize within 20 seconds. If, however, the butane torch is left burning too long... 60-90 seconds... the herbs will burn.
Iolite versus the VP-600?
The only significant advantages the Iolite Portable Vaporizer has over the VP-600: it's prettier, and it's heating process is controlled by a thermostat. But for speed and ease of operation, and the metal-inside-ceramic design of it's herb chamber, the VP-600 comes out well when compared to the significantly more expensive Iolite.
Nevertheless poor fit and finish and it's flimsy plastic shell drag the VP-600 down from 4 to 3 star level.

You are not tied down to a cord or a large unit that you have to sit on a table or a long wand or anything. For example, even just around your house you can slip in your pocket and use whenever you want.. Laying on the couch watching TV, out in the garage working, Sitting on the front porch enjoying the nice weather... Sitting on the toilet meditating... etc etc.. You see my point.. VaporGenie Classic Vaporizing Pipe Review

(More customer reviews)It took me a couple of tries to get the hang of using this thing, but now that I have, it works wonderfully. I find it a good way to conserve my legal herbs --smoking destroys some of the actives, so vapor is an alternative that allows maximum potency. It's also more discreet. There is still a pleasant herbal odor but you don't get that strong burning smell. The vapor tastes awesome compared to smoke too, again just a pleasant herbal taste. And of best of all, it's easy on my lungs! The only thing I would like is if they gave it a longer/flexible mouthpiece so you can more easily see what you're doing when lighting it. I added a 5" length of rubber tubing over the mouthpiece of mine and it's now by far the favorite piece in my collection. Still worth 5 stars for the price (compared to other vaporizers out there), effectiveness and overall satisfaction.
All I can say to those who posted poor reviews, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. If you're trying to pull the flame into the chamber with the herb it will taste horrible and will not work correctly. The very first time I used this I accidentally pulled the flame against the filter. It tasted horrible and I didn't get any vapor. I also have made the mistake of putting too much herb in the bowl. The result was burned herb. Less is more with this method!

(More customer reviews)This is my first vaporizer. I chose it (despite no reviews) due to the price. I have not been disappointed at all. It features a wooden case and digital temperature gauge. It heats up in about five minutes. I have found the best temperature for enjoying my favorite herbal products is 385 F (it does not switch to C), but yours may be different. (I don't know how consistent the heating elements are from one to the next.)
The included whip's design makes it hard to clean and change screens. I can already foresee the need to buy a replacement. The included grinder works nicely and includes a soft drawstring pouch for storage.
In short, I'm very pleased with this product, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced vaporizer setup.

The Volcano is supposed to be the best (I've never used it) but I can't imagine it's better than this, and certainly not twice as good although the Volcano costs twice as much and even more for the digital version. Extreme Vaporizer from Arizer customer service is the best. They answered my emails immediately, even when I sent then at night and they were as helpful as possible.
One warning: The extreme uses the strongest top quality glass available so the vapor never comes in contact with plastic, teflon, wood, aluminum or other metals which can give off harmful toxins or bad taste. The glass keeps the vapor tasty but be careful because even the strongest glass can break and glass is not covered by the warranty. I knocked mine off a table and broke the glass heater cover. It is possible to return the whole unit for repair at a cost of $40 (which covers the repair and return shipping) or you can purchse the glass heater cover for $25 and repair it yourself (which I did but it wasn't easy). All the other glass parts are external and easily replaced.
If you are careful with the glass, you won't find a better value

Vapir ONE 5.0 Digital Herbal Vaporizer + Inflation kit Review

- Healthy (so much better than smoking)
- Herb lasts longer (can reuse if quality, if not can reuse anyway but may be too weak). It will save you money and pickup time. I run quality herb through the vaporizer 2 times easily, and ten a third time if nothing else available.
- Once you know how to use, hard to go back to other herb vehicles
Cons:
- Small but existant learning curve
- Need electical outlet (not available at all times)
- Looks odd inhaling out of a bag
- Not convenient for travel (though still worth to take)
- Takes only 4 to 5 mins, but that's about 3 mins longer than a pipe
How to use: I've been using this for 2+ years and have a routine down pat as described below. Takes a total of maybe 3-5 minutes from start to finish.
1) First turn on machine, keep slider on fan to "L", adjust temperature to 388 to 391 for new herb. 393 to 395 for used herb.
2) while the machine is heating up, prepare herb container. (grind up herb if possible, or grind up in hand) ... usually once container is ready the machine light goes green
3) insert container, put the bag on ... move fan slider to "H". Bag will fill up in about 45 secs
4) Pull bag off ... turn machine off or repeat step 3 for another person (if quality herb, 1 container can do 2 people ... if used herb (meaning herb that has already gone through the vaporizer before, repeat from step 2 above).
5) Inhale slowly, cap the top with your finger, repeat until bag is empty. Then enjoy the hit!
Modificatios on the above -- if herb is weak, try a higher temp setting (2-3 degrees higher) ... if vapor is cloudy/smoky, lower temp setting by 2-3 degrees.
Note: well kept herb works better than herb that is too dry ... if too dry there is sometimes the danger it will burn, may lower temp 2-3 degrees if herb is very dry.
Trust me, once you get the hang of it, you will love the machine. I've introduced many people to the vaporizer and they all loved the delivery vs. other methods.

V-Tower Digital Aromatherapy Vaporizer by Arizer Review

(More customer reviews)I received my v tower vaporizer a few days ago. After a frustrating first couple of days trying to find the right temperature to use, I called vapenow.com for some advice. I spoke with a real friendly guy there who gave me a few pointers for my next attempt. On his advice, I dialed the heat up to 250 celcius, which had seemed kind of high to me before, made sure to let it warm up for 15-20 minutes, and lo and behold, the vapors started flowing! Apparently, the temperature sensor records the heat closer to the heating unit, not where your material sits in the bowl. Even though the temperature readout will hit your desired mark in seconds, it's still best to wait 15-20 minutes before using so that the bowl can warm up too. if you don't have a grinder, you'll want to get one to make sure your material has more surface area for the heat to hit.also, a slow draw seems to keep the heat more even.
Otherwise, it seems like a very sturdy unit. Incredibly easy to use. The 360 degree whip action is a nice feature, and the connector for the whip sits in the bowl very snugly. (More customer reviews)I bought the VP-100 from another site for a very reasonable price. It was a replacement for my Vapor Bros. vaporizer when the heating element finally wore out. The VP-100 is a classic example of "you get what you pay for" - it is functional, but it is very difficult to determine the correct temperature to vape rather than smoke. You pack the herb in the female and attach it to the male component on the box. The problem is that you are tilting it downward to make the connection so the herb spills toward the heating element, causing it to combust so you are smoking rather than vaping. I quick-fixed this by inserting another, smaller screen on top of the herb to keep it from scattering into the heating element, but this is definitely a design flaw. Also, it is tough to determine at exactly what temperature to vaporize. The limited instruction sheet said 365 which I found to be way too high, causing the herb to burn. Another source from the internet recommended 350 - again too high. Through trial and error, I found 310 to be about right. Also, another article I read mentioned that these units are designed in China and it is unclear what components have been used to put together the unit inside - in other words, you don't know if you are inadvertently inhaling toxins from questionable, cheap parts. Ceramic heating elements are the way to go. American products are also held to a higher quality standards. My regret is that I focused too much on price and did not do my homework on quality vaporizers in advance. Incidentally, if I had bought it at the Amazon price, I would have felt much more ripped off.
