Brussel's DT0107G Gardenia Indoor Bonsai Tree Review

(More customer reviews)I got this gardenia bonsai in mid-February and it is not as I expected. Upon opening the package, the leaves are dull green, no buds, dried out and mostly dark brown. I followed the instruction and even did some research work through the internet. I even bought extra stuffs like plant food, cool mist humidifier just to revive the plant. Well now, after 3 weeks, 90% of the leaves are gone, branches bare, looks like those bare trees that you see during winter. I tried to contact the merchant and ask for advise, but I did not get any response. I have other bonsais and regular gardenias that are healthy and I really wanted this gardenia bonsai so bad.

Intelligent PL-1 Plant Light - Indoor Grow Light Review

(More customer reviews)I LOVE these lights! I was skeptical at first but am back today to order yet another one. Do you have a dark room with no windows or just a dark corner of your house, put one of these on any table and viola!
Here's how it works:
Once you plug it in and set the season, winter, spring, summer or fall it's set. The light turns on and off after approx 12 hours on the spring setting, it will cycle through and go to summer then fall and winter and shortening the length of light hours to simulate sunlight. (just push the button back to spring if you want to grow violets)
Also there is a metal prong attached you can pop into your pot and it will tell you when you need to water by how far you put it in the soil,a light flashes on the back of the arm base when it's time to water. The prong is several inches long so push it all the way down for cactus, yes, these are working great for my cactus by keeping the light only 1-3 inches above the plant, or down just a tiny bit for a water loving plant like a peace lily. I can grow African violets like a champ by keeping it on the spring or summer setting. Oh, and you can fill the base with an inch or so of water if you want to create some humidity, just sit your pot on the raised bumps and keep the water below them. Tells you when to water, adds humidity if you want (works great for orchids) turns off and on automatically. It's a winner all around in my opinion. I bought four of these and am back for my fifth today. A nice plant on a stand with this light brightens the gloomiest corner. These are packaged well and would be a wonderful gift!

(More customer reviews)I got this from Amazon because they were hard to find locally. Dont you know it Lowes and Home Depot have started carrying them now for the same price. This does not have the grow media with it so I had to go to Lowes to get some starter soil for it where I saw Lowes had started carrying them and they had the media included.Yeah I was pissed. This one has a taller dome which was a major attraction for me but the moisture condenses on the dome runs down the sides and pours out of the planter as the dome lip sits on the outside of the tray. So if you have this in the house its gonna make a mess unless you put the tray in a bigger tray to catch the water. So buy it locally that way if you dont like it its easy to return.
